Want to make a simple dovetailed box?
Service Description
Make your own dovetailed box, complete with a lid and chamfered base! What you'll get: A finished box with hand cut dovetails, base, lid and plinth. Materials are provided. What you'll learn: You'll learn how to mark out, cut and pair a dovetail joint as well as fitting a base and lid and finishing. This two day course will consist of: - Reading technical drawings - Preparing timber - Marking out - Cutting tails and sockets - Pairing - Routing - Sanding - Finishing Good to know: - Materials provided - Free tea, coffee and water provided - Toilets available - No smoking or vaping on the premises - Please wear suitable footwear, ideally steel toe boots (no crocs, flipflops or sandals) - Attendees must sign a waiver before starting - On-site parking Want to use your own tools? Bring them along! Please bring: - Food/Lunch - Suitable footwear - Your own tools, if you'd like Please note: This course is not suitable for participants under 16 years of age. All participants will need to fill out a waiver form beforehand.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change so if you can't make it anymore, please notify us at least 24 hours before. If you do not attend and do not inform us, we will not refund you for the session. You must sign a waiver on arrival, which releases us from any injury or ill health that may of resulted from a workshop. Attendees must be over 16 and under 18s MUST be accompanied by an adult.
